SPC: Regional Active Transportation Forum
The regional Active Transportation Forum brings together local organizations and regional partners to talk about the ways that individuals and communities can foster and encourage active modes of transportation like walking and biking. Led by Leann Chaney, our Senior Active Transportation Planner, the main priority for our forum is to focus on programs, potential funding opportunities for these initiatives, and design guidelines. The Forum meets on a quarterly basis.
Note: This meeting is free and open to the public. Individuals that care about improving conditions for biking and walking modes of transportation are encouraged to join.

Holiday Light Bike Ride
SAVE THE DATE - 12/7/25 - HOLIDAY LIGHT BIKE RIDE
Come with us as we delight in holiday cheer! Light up your bike and join us for an evening ride as we explore Mt. Lebanon and take in the holiday lights. Candy canes & holiday hits will be provided! This ride is open to all ages and types of bikes. Please note that while we will select a safe route with minimal traffic and hills (exact location TBD), the roads will be open to cars. Proper bike lights, helmets & a familiarity of road riding rules are important. A prize for the most festive bike will be awarded!

Pumpkin Patch Parade
Join Move Lebo and walk in the Pumpkin Patch Parade on Saturday, October 25th!
Costumes encouraged but not required! We’ll be handing out candy and spreading the love as we enjoy a car-free Washington Road. Bikes, onewheels, scooters, etc. bring them along! Lineup will start at 10:00 a.m. and take place in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, located at 509 Washington Road. Parade starts at 11:00am.

Connected Car Workshop
In case you missed it, Pennsylvania's law about mobile phone use while driving has changed. You can now be stopped for holding your phone while driving. This includes phone calls and using navigation. Even while stopped at a red light!
Apple Carplay and Android Auto can help you stay connected and follow PA's new hands-free law. Most cars on the road today have these useful tools.
Join the Mt. Lebanon Police Department and MoveLebo for some quick how-to tips. There will be dedicated volunteers to help get your cars set up. Just bring your car, phone, and a cable to connect up. We'll have some extra on hand if needed. (Interested in volunteering? Sign up here)

Week Without Driving
If you can drive or afford a car, you may not understand what it’s like to rely on walking, rolling, transit and asking for rides. But for nearly a third of people living in the United States – people with disabilities, young people, seniors and people who can’t afford cars or gas – this is our every day.
We created the Week Without Driving experience so that those who have the option to drive can learn firsthand about the barriers and challenges that nondrivers face and work with nondrivers to create more accessible communities for all.

Park(ing) Day
Popping up at the corner of Ralston & Beverly 8am - 4pm
Move Lebo will be popping up in support of Park(ing) Day to advocate for safer, greener, and more equitable streets for people. We plan to set up ahead of school drop-off with coffee and donuts for families on their way to school. After the morning rush, we plan to replenish supplies throughout the day in order to accommodate remote workers that may want to get out of the house during the day. If the weather is nice, we’ll plan to hand out popsicles in the afternoon following the end of the school day. Stop by and say hello!
