Community Powered Pedal (em)Power has arrived in Mt. Lebanon! Thanks to our generous supporters, we purchased a Dero FixIt Station and three bike racks for the Recreation Center, creating the first of its kind bike hub for our community. The success of this initiative is a result of a collaborative effort between Move Lebo and Mt. Lebanon municipality, who we want to thank for doing the installation. Serving as a tangible symbol of what can be achieved when passionate residents and dedicated municipal leaders work together, this bike hub represents more than just a place to park your bike. It is a clear signal that our residents value and want to invest in public infrastructure that prioritizes people-powered mobility.
In honor of this significant milestone, we are hosting a celebration on Saturday, June 27th from 9:30am - 11:30am at the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center.
9:30 - 10:00 - Bike Ride (moderate, adult ride, beginning and ending at the recreation center)
9:30 - 11:30 - Kid Bike Course (recreation parking lot, bring your own bike)
9:30 - 11:30 - Gelato for purchase (provided by Piccola Piazza)
11:00 - Ribbon cutting ceremony
All events will center around the new bike hub outside of the Recreation Center, 900 Cedar Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. A very special thank you to Fleet Feet for donating some super fun swag that we’ll be giving away to a few lucky attendees! Hope to see you on the 27th!
